All Klei Atelier ceramic items are handcrafted in Reykjavík, Iceland. Each piece is made in small batches causing variations in form and finish to occur amongst each unique, handmade piece.

Variations may include but are not limited to colour, glaze, texture, and size. 

Glaze variations can include but are not limited to: minor pinholes, glaze thickness and minor freckles/specks. Variations are not considered defects and will not be eligible for return or refund. All items are food safe and made with non-toxic materials unless stated otherwise. 

Items are dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to properly care for your piece.
Stoneware is a semi-porous material, sweating and condensation naturally occur and can leave watermarks on surfaces. Klei atelier ceramics is not responsible for marks left on surfaces that vessels may leave.

Made to order items take approximately 2-3 weeks to create and ship. All items are subject to longer production times due to the delicate and particular process in which they are created. All purchases are final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations at this time.

You can choose to pick up an order (in the rvk area) or get it sent. All sent orders go with Íslandspóstur and Íslandspóstur’s delivery or DHL for international orders. Warranty and shipping terms apply to the delivery of the product. According to this, Klei Atelier is not liable for any damage that may occur to goods in transit. In the event of damage to the product from the time it is sent from Klei Atelier to the person in question, the damage is the responsibility of the buyer. 

Domestic delivery time is usually 3-5 working days after the order is received and payment has taken place. The product is sent directly to your nearest post office. Be sure to fill in the correct address information when ordering to ensure proper delivery. For international orders, ISK 3,300 is added to shipping costs. Delivery time is usually 10-14 days.

Shipping costs are added to the order before payment is made. 1490 ISK is the shipping cost for Icelandic orders.
